A Deconstructed View
Austin, TX - Iranian American artist, Susannah Haddad brings her mixed media and printed works to Dougherty Arts Center in a fresh, colorful exhibit that puts on display her abstract deconstruction of reality.
While Susannah Haddad has been creating art for years, her first showing was only 5 years ago. With a growing discomfort for the social aspects of showing her work, Haddad graces the Dougherty Arts Center gallery walls with over two years worth of work.
"A Deconstructed View is a showing of how reality is processed in my head. Both a physical representation of an abstracted reality as well as the unclear, undefined, messiness of what it means to exist. How does my reality differ from yours? How does your reality differ from theirs?"
A Deconstructed Views features never before seen works, including 3D installations, prints and mixed media paintings.
